In-Service Training

Just a reminder….as advocates, we must complete 12 hours of In-Service every year in order to remain in “good standing”. These hours can be obtained through In-Service presentations, movies, books, and on-line training opportunities. Please check with Supervisor to see how many hours you have and what you need to do in order to complete your service requirements.

Suggestions: Watch Blind Side….I am Sam….Gone Baby Gone….or Precious – They are great movies and an excellent way to accumulate your hours.

Book Picks: Advocate Giny Huey suggests Madness by Marya Hornbacher.

We have a good selection of books and tapes in our library….Please check them out when you stop by the office.
